Chad covers several reactions that can be used to produce alcohols.  This includes a number of reactions that are review including substitution reactions and alkene addition reactions.  But Chad also covers the reduction of ketones and aldehydes via catalytic hydrogenation or by using sodium borohydride (NaBH4) or lithium aluminum hydride (LiAlH4 or LAH).  Chad also takes the time to describe how to recognize oxidation and reduction from an organic chemistry perspective.
