When a 17 person band has just two days to practice for a two hour gig, in front of a massive audience, there are going to be major challenges. Episode 3 shows the band in full work mode as bandleaders Jim James and John Oates struggle to get everyone on the same page while the pressure mounts and show day approaches. The Preservation Hall horns show off their power with Jim James performing a soulful take on the Curtis Mayfield classic 'Move On Up' with special guest Bilal. Ultimately the band delivers an incredible performance, but when taking the stage the biggest hurdles were still to come.
