In this video, I'll tell you how to solder the cable to the motherboard, and then connect the hard drive to Sony Playstation 2 Slim SCPH 7000
You can install Free HD boot on CDD without a chip and a card. You can do this via a PC (download the itself here: http://viid.me/qEknFZ). After the instructions:
1.1 - Setting up the hard disk before installing Free HD Boot:
1. Unpack the archive downloaded from the link above
2. Unpack WinHip.rar and go to the unpacked WinHip folder
3. Run Execute, that is WinHip.exe on behalf of the administrator! This is important, without it all down the drain!
4. Click OK
5. Click Select Drive
6. Choose our HDD, to understand what our, look at its size, do not confuse it with the one in the computer!
7. The prog can curse, but we sure do not press Ok
8. After clicking Options
9. 48bit
10. ok
11. Format Drive
12. Ok
13. Yes
14. Ok
15. We are waiting
16. Close the program
1.2 - Installation of Free HD Boot to HDD:
1. We return to our program folder
2. Unpack FREEHDBOOT 193.iso
3. Run HDDRAWCOPY (as administrator)
4. Press Agry
5. Select Double Click To Open File
6. Choose our file FREEHDBOOT 193.iso
7. Click Continue
8. After in the same window, select in the list of drives our HDD that we want to insert into PS2
9. Click Continue
10. Click Start
11. The program matyunetsya, but we surely press the button Ok
12. When the Task Complete line appears, close the program.
1.3. - Installation of games via WinHip:
1. Again, go to the unpacked folder WinHip
2. Run the executable, that is WinHip.exe FROM THE NAME OF THE ADMINISTRATOR!
3. Click Ok
4. Click Select Drive
5. Choose our HDD
6. The prog can curse, but we confidently press OK
7. Click Add Image
8. In the new window click Add Image
9. Choose images of games on your computer (should be in iso format, for example Shadow Of The Colossus.iso) We can add several games at once, just select with the mouse
10. Click to open
11. Click Start
12. We are waiting
13. Click Ok
14. Click Exit.
For the subsequent recording of games, see item 1.3
To format the disc and record the games, see item 1.1. (subparagraphs 11 to 15) after paragraph 1.3.
Everything is ready, now we connect our CDD to Slmka (If you have Fat, then to the NETWORK ADAPTER, we shove it into the console itself and tighten the bolts), turn on, the FreeMC Boot screensaver will appear on the screen, then select OPL and enjoy life. It should be noted that the games will work super fast, you will not see brakes in the rollers, the drawing of the map will be complete, well, in general everything should please. Savings can be configured for the HDA itself in the PLR.
Plus HDBoot - you can play games on an unchipped prefix and without a stitched memory card. You can install it on the PC itself. Minus - HDBoot reserves 7 GB of additional hard disk space.
In order to just throw the game and play with a stitched card or chip, do steps 1.1. and 1.3.
Tip: if you buy a slim - choose exactly SCPH 7000x models, if fath - buy ide HDD and IDE Network Adapter accordingly (as the practice shows, the Satovian XXD sometimes does not work correctly).
