Actor Ansel Elgort is all smiles while heading to a 'Tokyo Vice' event at The Avalon in Los Angeles. Ansel, who has been keeping a low profile recently, happily greeted and signed autographs for waiting fans outside as he promoted the second season of the crime drama.

Elgort revealed in an interview that Michael Mann, who directed the first episode, told him to study Japanese for 9 hours a day.

The actor revealed he spent more than four hours a day studying and immersing himself in the language. 'It was such a cool thing to have to do – a great challenge,' he said.
