Intex Challenger K1 inflatable kayak
Intex Challenger K1 inflatable kayak and how to pack it away efficiently.
Firstly, when it's lying flat, you insert the cardboard rings back into boston valves to prevent the caps from sealing the valve back again - this will be crucial for final steps.
Secondly, fold it - by its width (I call it my 2/3-2/3 method), then lengthwise.
Don't forget you can't fold the skeg box - if you break it, then you waste the whole boat (unless you're happy with giving up tracking).
Kneel on it for a moment once folded to get the residue air out.
Finally, we move onto bagging - I always put it back in the bag the same way and that ensures it will also fit back in the box.
Simple, nice, and relatively quick.
