Vision Acuity and IOL characteristics - a defocus curve understanding.
Your freedom of glasses and visual acuity at different distances depends on IOL type - is it monofocal cataract lens or one of presbyopia correcting IOL such as multifocal, bifocal, trifocal or EDOF IOL type, but main characteristic, which explains expected visual experience is a defocus curve.
Defocus curve is a quantity of vision metrics, while quality of vision describes contrast sensitivity and color vision (will explain in my next video)
