In this video I am going to be setting up a new set of Spicer Gears into a Dana 30 Jeep Front Axle. I took out the old Jeep 3.54 gear set and I am changing to a 4.10 gear setup. I will show you how to properly set up the pinion depth. I am using a TD Machine pinion depth setting tool to do the job today.
I have Dana/Spicer Gears as well as the correct carrier I need to install the 4.10 gear set. Always check you carrier breaks so you know which carrier to use with the gear set you are installing.
