Automated Gantry System with FANUC LR Mate 200iD Robot – FLT’s New LGR-3 Demo Gantry Cell

Robots for load/unload: www.fanucamerica.com/industrial-solutions/manufact… FANUC America Authorized System Integrator FLT developed this, their new LGR-3 Gantry System, to serve a variety of industrial applications with high precision, reliability and consistency. Once an operator selects an item to be engraved, FLT’s LGR-3 gantry moves at 4.5 meters/second to retrieve the chosen item. The LGR-3 hands it off to a fast and compact FANUC LR Mate 200iD robot, which places it in the Keyence MD-X1000 Hybrid laser for engraving. Upon completion, the FANUC robot retrieves the engraved item and drops it in the chute for delivery. Hardware controls for all devices are Rockwell Automation software and interfaces. FLT standard gantries can handle payloads up to 3,000 kilograms, with vertical speed up to 2 meters/second. Horizontal travel range can be over 100 meters with a vertical stroke up to 3 meters.
