The Disused Railway That Used To Take Coals To Derbyshire - The Midland Railway in Nottinghamshire
Join me as i continue my journey along the former Midland Railway from Pleasley in Nottinghamshire to Tibshelf Sidings in Derbyshire.
In Part 2 we leave behind Sutton Colliery, where we finished off in Part 1, and head back to Skegby Junction rejoining the main Midland Railway. The first location along the way is White borough Station and the site of this.
Next up its Tibshelf where the line once passed below the Great Central Railway and onto Tibshelf and Newton Station.
Finally we take a long curve to the end of the line beside the former Tibshelf Sidings.
