AC Registers: How To Paint AC Register Air Vents:
In this video we'll show you 2 easy and fast methods of how to paint AC registers, and AC air vents. Don't go to the store and waste money on new AC vents, or find out they don't have your AC grill vent sizes. Don't buy a new AC register grill, we will show you how to make it look like you have a brand new AC ventilation system. We will instead paint AC vents.
We even bonus video, how to paint bedroom doors and how to paint bathroom doors. Don't waste time trying to figure out how to clean AC vents. We'll show you how to "clean" AC vents by showing you how to paint AC vents.
How to paint AC register vents
We will show you how to simply how to paint ac registers, using either a professional paint sprayer to sweep back and forth over your AC grill vents, you can rent a paint sprayer, or using cans of spray paint and spray primer. While painting air vent covers, you can also paint the ac register screws by sticking them upward in a piece of cardboard. Leave no screw un-turned!
Over the years you may have seen your AC vent dripping water, and those water droplets on your dripping AC vent can cause corrosion and discoloring of your ac register grill. Luckily you have come to the right place to learn how to paint AC vents.
Painting Air Vents with a professional paint sprayer:
Using a real paint sprayer is the best, because it will paint AC register vents so perfectly and evenly. You usually see us like in this video, we know how to paint AC vents, so painting AC vents in a sweeping north south pattern, then we change direction and paint the AC register in an east to west painting pattern. Then we let the painted AC register vent dry. Don't forget to paint the screws too, make your whole AC ventilation air vent system look brand new.
Alternate method for painting air vent covers: Spray painting AC registers with cans of spray paint:
Painting AC vents is simple,you can rent the sprayer from Home Depot or other equipment rental stores, or have a friend you know who owns a sprayer come by to help you with painting AC vents. If that is not possible, then buy a can a spray primer and a can of white spray paint in the paint aisle, and start painting vents quickly.
Using the spray can method, I recommend you paint AC registers with primer first, let dry 2 hours, then paint the AC vents with the white paint, or whatever color you choose. White paint has no pigment, so I recommend painting AC vents with 2 layers, let the first layer dry, then spray paint ac registers a second time and let dry.
No worrying about AC grill sizes and buying new Ac grill vents. You'll be painting AC vents, and no more AC vent dripping stains. If you continue to have a dripping AC vent, you might be spray painting your AC register grill again soon.
These restore tips all work for AC vent covers for ceilings too. Most of the black stains will not come off, so we don't normally clean Ac vents, we simply prime them and paint AC registers, right over the stains. If possible , when painting Ac vents, use paint with the primer in it already.

So if you ever find yourself with a dripping AC vent problem, fix the condensation issue on the AC grill vents first, then spray paint AC grill vents back to new again.
