The 5.45 US round is a very fun but challenging round to use. It excels at close-range due to it's low velocity. Equipping a suppressor helps to assist with it's general poor performance and makes the shooters position less easily known. The slow travelling round often confuses players as to where the shots are coming from. Most effective tactics with this round were to play stealth. Get the edge on your opponents by moving in close and quietly. When dealing with multiple enemy combatants it is best to setup an ambush in close-quarters and always aim for shots to the head. Even managing to miss the head it is still deadly in the fact that it can instantly disable an opponent's limb in one shot. This US round performs very poorly at medium to long distances, against level 3 armor and up, and is not a very good round to use during offensive maneuvers. It is easily found in 120pc. boxes around Interchange making it one of the most easily attainable ammunitions.
