On May 9th, 2015, I embarked on my second ever 100k adventure. For years, I have looked up in awe to all of those individuals who have toed the line at the Western States 100 Endurance Run. It was finally time to attempt to qualify for myself.
"Qualifier" is my story of running and completing the Quicksilver 100k, one of many qualifying races for the 2016 Western States 100. While it by no means guarantees me entry into the illustrious race, it at least gets me one step closer to toeing the line. I look forward to the lottery this fall.
