Windows 10 BitLocker: This device can’t use a Trusted Platform Module

This is a procedure on how to enable BitLocker on a machine that is running Windows 10 and does not have a compatible Trusted Platform Module (TPM). If your machine has no compatible TPM, you will get the following error if you try to use BitLocker on the Boot Disk: This device can’t use a Trusted Platform Module. Your administrator must select the “Allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM” option in the “Require additional authentication at startup” policy for OS volumes.
