The blaze broke out on
The blaze broke out on the Great Western Highway just before 2am 29/10/2023.
At the peak of the fire, more than 100 firefighters and 20 fire trucks worked to stop the fierce fire from spreading to neighbouring businesses.
This video includes coverage from the initial firefighting operations through to the fire duties performed by firefighters to render the site safe at 4am 31/10/2023 and is explained by Superintendent Adam Dewberry, Fire and Rescue NSW Operational Media Liaison.
