Developed and published by Seibu Kaihatsu in 1989 Follow me on Twitter @ twitter.com/Al82_Retro Third-person on-rails shooter starring a muscle-bound trooper with what appears to be a metal arm, Dynamite Duke has all the ingredients for what should have been an awesome Op Wolf-style experience. Unfortunately, I found the game lacked much in the way of charm, and the gameplay turned out to be quite monotonous, not to mention difficult. I guess the game provided a level of inspiration for future titles, and the foreground melee idea was pretty neat, but I have to confess I just didn't like it very much. I believe there was conversion to the Sega Genesis, but I don't know how that compares to the arcade original. #dynamiteduke #retrogaming #arcadegames
