It was a heart-stopping moment as a Florida police officer rescued a dog from the side of a highway. Officer Joe Puglia of Pinellas Park was in his patrol car when he saw the dog. He told Inside Edition, “I thought he was dead.” Puglia jumped into action, wrapping the dog in an emergency blanket and rushing him to the nearest animal hospital. Miraculously, the dog only suffered minor cuts and bruises. #InsideEdition
