Formula Student UK 2016 became
Formula Student UK 2016 became infamous for one of the biggest post race disqualification orgies known to FS/FSAE.
The event was "renamed" into Formula Brexit shortly after for a lot of teams. On top of that FSUK decided they wont run the 2017 event by the rules every other european competition will use. A lot of teams dropped FSUK from their race calenders after 2016, because they wont adjust their car to two reglements. FSUK finally brexited itself.
Anyway; I liked racing at Silverstone in 2015 and 2016. The track had a nice different pace and feeling compared to FSG. Running FSE with FSC within the same class was always weird but fun. We had to push super hard in AutoX and Endurance because we obviously lost a lot of points in acceleration.
After Delft's disqualification we won FSUK16 (otherwise 2nd place behind Delft) starting F0711-11's almost perfect season.
