Think of us before you drive

Victoria Police will be ramping up the focus on driver behaviour with Operation Roadwise reaching into every corner of the state. Work with us as we continue working Towards Zero this holiday period.

Please stay safe on the roads this holiday season by:

- Slowing down and driving at a speed appropriate for the conditions. Some of us will travel on unfamiliar roads this Summer so it’s important not to rush.
- As little as one alcoholic drink may impair your judgement so plan your way home before you have a drink.
- Always be present when you are driving. A phone message, a call or a song can be all it takes to pull our attention away from driving.
