Bihar Politics Live: Nitish Kumar to be sworn in as Chief Minister for 9th time | Odia News
Nitish Kumar resigns as Bihar CM, to form govt with BJP. In a major setback for the INDIA bloc, Nitish Kumar has resigned as Chief Minister of Bihar, bringing down the government of the JDU-RJD alliance. He will now form a government with the BJP later at 5 pm. A moment after Nitish resigned, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge said he was told about the possible move by Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Yadav. Kharge said he knew this was going to happen but did not do anything to keep the alliance intact.
