On the auspicious occasion of February 2, 2024, Friday, the eminent philosopher, researcher, poet, and former director of the Iqbal Academy Pakistan, Ahmad Javed, graced the City of Knowledge Islamic Research Institute with his presence. Renowned for his profound insights into philosophy, Poetry and literature, especially the works of Rumi, Saadi Shirazi, Meer Taqi Meer, Ghalib, and other distinguished Persian and Urdu poets, Ahmad Javed delivered captivating lectures. His discourse at the City of Knowledge focused on the pressing topic of "Modern Atheism and Our Role in Confronting It." The event garnered immense interest, attracting a diverse audience from both nearby and distant places. Attendees from various walks of life gathered to participate, turning the program into a fully house-packed event. The eloquent and distinguished Speaker, Dr. Umair Mahmood Siddiqui is a Member Council of Islamic Ideology, a renowned Islamic scholar, a prominent public speaker, an assistant professor at the Department of Islamic Studies and Learning at the University of Karachi, and the founder of ‘City of Knowledge Islamic Research Institute’ (CoK) situated in Karachi, Pakistan.
