10. Ancestors & Magha Nakshatra + Planets in Magha

Magha is ruled by the Pitrs, the soul of our ancestors. The pitrs belong to the lineage of either the Saptarishis, the seven divine sages or King Manu. Most of us trace our lineage to King Manu and so we are called Manavas, which translates to human beings. Magha translation is "the mighty one". Its main symbol is “a royal throne”. The sacrificial wish of Magha was to prosper. Ketu rules this nakshatra, which symbolizes past lives and this nakshatra represents the rewards accrued due to past life karmas (actions).
