It is difficult for us to imagine the God who is formless, so we try to see Him with our eyes. We try to give God a physical form.
But in Geeta, Shri Krishna says, "I grant you divine vision to behold my royal opulence. " Lord Krishna says that the physical eyes will never be able to see His divinity. We need to see it from a divine perspective. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna gave this divine vision to Arjuna.
So it is absolutely true that one can see the God with the help of divine vision.
It's the journey of man kind to decide from where and how can he get it.
