This is Madan Gupta a curious old man here today to share all my learnings about true India with you all.
Our history books taught us that India has been discovered by Vasco da gama, making them the real heroes. But, did how many of us knew that he was assisted by an Indian to even find out Indian and he was also surprised to see that Indians back then had better Naval technology than Europeans. In this video by me - @themadangupta, I have gathered all the information to explain that we had Naval technology right from Vedic time. I have also added instances where our Naval technology was infact praised by Europeans.
1487 లో పోర్చుగీసు రాజు జాన్ సెకండ్... ఇద్దరు గూఢచారులను తూర్పు ఆఫ్రికా దారి గుండా ఈజిప్టు, భూ మార్గం గుండా భారతదేశానికి పంపించాడు. ఎందుకంటే భారత్ ఎంతో సంపన్నమైన దేశం దానితో వ్యాపారాలు చేయడానికి అధిక ధనాన్ని ఖర్చుపెట్టి భారత్ కు మార్గం కనుక్కోవడం. యూరప్ వారు భారతదేశానికి సముద్ర మార్గాన్ని కనుక్కోవడం చాలా గొప్ప విజయంగా చెప్పుకుంటారు. కానీ ఇందులో ఐరనీ ఏమిటంటే భారతదేశం నాలుగు-ఐదువేల సంవత్సరాలనుండి యూరప్ తో వ్యాపారం చేస్తుంది. అంతే కాకుండా తూర్పు దేశాలతో కూడా భారతదేశానికి వ్యాపార సంబంధాలు ఉన్నాయి. సముద్ర ప్రయాణాలు వ్యాపారం, నౌకా నిర్మాణం విషయాలలో భారతదేశం అత్యున్నతమై స్థితిలో ఉండేది.
