Originally recorded in 1967 on
Originally recorded in 1967 on ATCO Records label, this 9 minute rendition was not issued until 1973 on a compilation album titled "Buffalo Springfield" on Warner Brothers LP album. The long version is also featured on a 1974, various artists double album titled "Heavy Metal" issued by Warner Special Products... SP-2001 and it is the album used on this track you are hearing now.
I made a fold down mono mix from the stereo version because I always enjoyed how this track sounded in mono on my vintage GE mono phonograph when I was a kid, and I also like the way it folds down to mono from this particular album in that the vocals and instruments sound reasonably well balanced in relation to one another (To my ears anyway).
Transferred with stereo components featured on my channel photo and main channel video.
