Sony A7 V - Coming Soon Next Flagship in 2024?

Rumors suggest the A7 V might boast a 44-megapixel full-frame BSI CMOS sensor. While not brand new (announced earlier this year), this sensor seems like a perfect fit for Sony's next entry-level full-frame offering. Compared to the 33-megapixel sensor in the A7 IV, this could translate to a significant resolution jump. This translates to more freedom for cropping and potentially superior image quality. One of the standout features of this sensor is its blazing-fast data transfer speed, thanks to a 16-lane high-speed interface. This promises roughly double the readout rate of Sony's current top models, the A7R V and A7 VI.
