Gallbladder as such doesn’t cause acid reflux. It is an organ to store our liver juices. Whenever we eat the liver juices they come from the gallbladder, it is a storage for our liver. Gallbladder  if  it develops  problems, it is usually gallbladder  stones, then usually  most of these patients they come with abdominal pain, which   can be gastric or acidic, that is the commonest mistake that people do.  When there is acute pain from the naval part people think it is a   gastric problem, that is one misnomer people  think of rarely  gallbladder stones  if it is there we  call it  as chronic cholecystitis. Then these patients can have bloating, gas and abdominal discomfort, which people think  it is  gastric problem,. Acidity problem. These are  the systems of gall stone disease, which people think it  as gastric. But  whenever  patients  have pain, bloating, too much of  pain, bloating, ultrasound, and people look for pain,  then there is acidity issue, gastric issue m usually we give medicines. If  medicines don’t  work  we  do  an  endoscopy  and we  look  for H.pylori infection in your  stomach, gallbladder per se doesn’t  cause,  but gallbladder stones can cause symptoms which look like acidity  but   most of it is  because of gallbladder stone disease.
