I am waking up in
I am waking up in Interlaken, but I need to be in Basel for my afternoon flight back to Bristol in the UK. That's no problem as SBB provides a direct service with a Class Re 460 electric locomotive powering a set of IC2000 double-deck coaches.
We'll get some lovely views of the Thunersee before crossing Switzerland right up to the French and German borders at Basel. This shapes up to be a very smooth and hassle-free ride in 1st Class on SBB.
