This unique Fender Squier Stratocaster
This unique Fender Squier Stratocaster Standard was manufactured by the Yako company in Taiwan in 1996 and I've been itching to do a teardown to find out as much as I could about what's inside it because it just sounds amazing.

There were a few surprises when I took it apart but it explains why this particular Strat sounds so good.
The alnico pickups in this stratocaster are authentic alnico 5's which gives it that amazing sound quality. Made by the UK company Iron Gear model type Pig Iron.
This guitar was made in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stratocaster. The neck was made by Atlansia and it was this neck that sold me on the guitar as soon as I held it.
It is just so comfortable and has proven to be my go to guitar for daily practice. I can play it for hours and not get fatigued or hand cramps just bliss.
