Quincee C. shares how she found out she had leukemia and her first symptoms. She shares how she felt really tired, but she thought it was because she was pregnant. She then noticed bruising on her legs and hands and bleeding gums. Fortunately, Quincee already had an appointment with a hematologist. At that appointment, her blood levels were so low she had to have a transfusion. After further testing, Quincee was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. She is now a two-time cancer survivor after relapsing.
In this cancer vlog, Quincee shares insight on what it’s like to be pregnant while going through a cancer diagnosis. She also describes the umbilical cord blood transplant she received.
