England Cricket captain Eoin Morgan lifted the World Cup and every cricket fan in Ireland was proud to see the man from Rush in County Dublin excel at the very highest level in the sport. Unfortunately, a lot of ignorant discourse followed the win with some Irish people even claiming that he was a traitor for leaving Ireland to play for England, even though he had no choice but to do it at the time if he wanted to play Test cricket.
