Gay superheroes are more prominent than ever. From Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy dating to Tim Drake or Superman coming out to Wiccan and Hulkling getting married, LGBTQA comic books seem to be bigger than ever. And not just superheroes. LGBTQA graphic novels keep making news, from Nimona becoming a major Academy Award Nominated animated film to Gender Queer getting banned in almost every state, everyone's talking about this.

But what's the history? How did we get here? Are superheroes woke or is this the result of decades of talented artists and writers you've never heard of doing incredible work. I mean...obviously that last bit.
