Harbor Freight 10 x 18 Mini Lathe Bed Extension

I have believed for quite sometime that many mini lathes were made from the same factory. However between several stores selling their own brand of essentially the same lathe Harbor Freight sells it the cheapest. The problem is Harbor Freight has the least amount of support for their lathes. I took a chance to see if the bed extension from Rockler would fit and sure enough it does; woo hoo. This opens up greater possibilities as Rockler has additional accessories that are designed to fit their Excelsior lathe which by proxy means they will fit the Harbor Freight mini 10 x 18 lathe as well.
