Or maybe the end is just stubbornly refusing to do what it's supposed to, keep on keepin' on, while the new beginning is running away in the future, too bashful to disclose its own potential...
... and the Void finds roots in the space that's in between.
Subtle whispers fade away, beyond reach. They where born out of hope, lived out of lies, freed up by a big damn boom. The world is too shiny for them, so accostumed to dark thoughts, and the vastness above it seems to call them, chitter chatter in the ether.
Siblings.
Countless little shapes.
Where are they going?
Nobody really cares.
Except the lucky ones, of course.
