Dealing With Disciplinary Action Against Employees

This 45-minute presentation will provide Councils with practical guidance in relation to dealing with disciplinary action against employees, particularly for where breaches of a Council’s code of conduct arise. We will clarify what may constitute a breach and also deal with the particular aspects of applying an appropriate disciplinary procedure to ensure a process of procedural fairness to avoid unfair dismissal claims and industrial disputation.
