How to make the pickle last longer . In this video I'm sharing the recipe of instant pickle which can be relished as soon as it is made. This pickle is like the tomato chutney but because of certain secret ingredients added it will last for months at room temperature . This pickle can be served along with plain or any variety of paranthas and puris. The taste of this pickle is sweet, sour and spicy the kids too love it.
*****Kindly note that if you want to store this pickle at room temperature be sure to sterilize your jars for the pickle to last longer . You can also store it in the refrigerator too.

Ingredients for tomato pickle
Red and ripened tomatoes : 800 gms
garlic : 20 -25 nos
oil : 1/3 cup
mustard seeds : 1.5 tsp
onion : 01 big size
green chillies : 03 nos
coriander powder : 01 tbsp
Everest garam masala : 1 -2 tbsp
vinegar  03 tbsp
sugar : 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp
asafoetida : 1/4 tsp + 1/4 tsp
turmeric : 1/4 tsp


For tadka
refined oil : 02 -03 tbsp
mustard seeds : 1/2 tsp
sesame seeds : 1/2 tsp
asafoetida : 1/2 tsp
curry leaves : 5 -6 nos
