How to DEFEAT Yurgir | BG3 HONOR MODE

My personal opinion is that it is best practice to kill Yurgir instead of trying to engage in dialogue in honor mode. One bad roll, and you can lose it all. It's best to take the NPCs by surprise - SINCE YURGIR CANNOT BE TAKEN BY SURPRISE, the need for high dexterity, elixirs of vigilance, and initative boosting gear is so essential. (I actually messed this up in the recording, and was very lucky to still win initative as I had forgotten some items)
However you can trigger surprise in all the other NPCs arena. So you can focus all your party on him before dealing with the Displacer and Merregons.

3x Potions of Speed
2x Diluted Oils of Sharpness
1x Invisibility Potion
4x Lightening Scrolls
2x Arrows of Fiend Slaying
4x Arrows of Many Targets


Level 7:
PC - open hand monk - TB: 8str,17dex(+1 AEB),15con(+1TB) ,8int,16 wis, 8ch
Relevant weapon: Gloves of cinder and sizzle

Astarion - Assassin - Sharpshooter: 8str, 17dex,15con8int,8wis,15ch
Relevant weapon: Bow of Awareness (+1 initative)

Lae'zel - ASI & Sharpshooter: 17str (+1),16dex,15con(+1),8int,8wis, 8ch
Relevant weapon: Titanstring bow, hill giant club (boosts str to 19)

Karlach - Berserker - TB: 17str(+1TB)15dex,16con,8int,8wis, 8ch
Relevant weapon: Returning Pike, Gandrel's Aspiration
