With Youtube's podcasting endeavours starting to bloom and Spotify allowing it's podcasters in certain countries to upload video podcast, it is increasingly becoming relevant to at least start thinking about making video podcasts.
Doing so requires - first - a good camera. Recently, the best beginner camera is hyped to be the Sony ZV-E10, and for good reasons. It shoots in 4k (downsampled from 6k), it does not overheat, has no recording limit and offers a really snappy and reliable face/eye detection autofocus, which make it an ideal beginner's camera.
However, the face/eye detection autofocus can in certain specific cases let you down: you have to make some sacrifices to use it. There are 6 cases, when you will not be able to use it: this video lists these cases and why they are important.
