Fuel tank rust treatment [Phosphoric acid]
I have rust in my fuel tank which I am treating with phosphoric acid. Why phosphoric acid? Because it can descale as well as converts rust into inert Iron Phosphate.
If your tank has built up rust, it is recommended to loosen and remove was much rust as possible. This is normally done by dropping a chain or aggregate into the tank and shaking sufficient to mechanically remove the rust.
