Hello, this time is a boom cylinder repair video of 0.25㎥ hydraulic excavator Komatsu PC78-8 type.
At present, it is just a leak, but if it gets worse and the leak gets worse, I will not be able to work, so I will fix it now.
The rod cover of the boom cylinder was so hard that I couldn't remove it with the tools I had on hand.
Since I removed the hydraulic cylinder, I will replace the seal kit inside, the price of the seal kit was 12000 yen.
The fixing nut of the piston is coated with "screw lock" to prevent rotation, and the joint part of the hydraulic hose is not a taper but a flange, so install a new O-ring.
I was able to confirm that the repair was completed safely and that there was no oil leak.
