Thank you to Jacksonville, Florida's own Lil Poppa for coming on my show for an interview! Lil Poppa talked about his new album Blessed, I Guess, his reaction to the album listing at 160 on the top BillBoard Charts, and the story behind the title. He told his story of meeting DMX and the important advice that he gave him. He spoke about signing to Rule #1/Interscope Records and why they are the best label suited for him. He listed his top five rappers of all time and stressed why it is important for new artists to respect the legends in Hip-Hop as well as why it is essential for the legends to be played on the radio as well.
