Sonic Mania Plus: Encore Mode Part 2: Chemical Plant Zone (Team Super)

The Encore Mode version of
The Encore Mode version of Chemical Plant replaces the sunset colors of the zone with a more midnight-colored backdrop. Expect both of the underwater locations of big Special Stage rings in Act 1 to be replaced with character monitors, though I still managed to find a different one in its original place.
I haven't talked about Ray yet, so here goes. His special ability is Air Glide, where he pretty much turns into Cape Mario of Super Mario World to soar through the air in the exact same way. He doesn't attack enemies in front of him while he's gliding like Knuckles does, but if you drop from his flight, Ray will curl into a ball to (hopefully) keep him safe against enemies.

I get all of the Chaos Emeralds during Act 2. Because of how Encore Mode works with using characters, this means that EVERYONE can be a Super, now! You switch into a character's Super form the moment you swap characters, at all, so go nuts!
This whole "Plus" patch also gave Super Sonic a lot of new sprites for when he interacts with things. He even has a new idle animation where he surges with blue lightning like a Super Saiyan 2!
Despite the changes to object placement, the bosses are still the exact same, including the Mean Bean Machine match against Eggman
