Khao San Road is a 400 to 1000 meter long road / street, also called ''Walking Street'' or ''strip''. The Khao San Road nightlife area is famous because of its many bars and clubs that are cheaply priced. Khao San Road is one of the most popular and busiest places to party in Thailand. Beside of bars and clubs, there are also a lot of street vendors that are selling street food, clothes, and tourist souvenirs.
Khao San Road is the backpacking meeting place / hub of South-East Asia, attracting all kind of people from all over the world. Khao San Road is most popular with backpackers and travelers, but also local people and local students.
