🤩 What to see in Istanbul? Where to stay? Is it worth going to the Princes' Islands? I have collected useful tips for you and prepared a ready-made walking route around Istanbul for 1 day. I also went to the Princes' Islands, climbed Pierre Loti Hill and visited other interesting places. I showed the hotel in the center of Istanbul near Istiklal Street where I was staying. I hope my episode about the cultural capital of Turkey will be useful to you. I have collected up-to-date information for holidays in Istanbul in 2024. ⭐ Useful links and names • The Westist Hotel & Spa Istanbul – travelata.tp.st/LBNn1kj9 • Excursion to the Princes’ Islands, which I was on – clck.ru/3AwDoU • Panoramic cafe overlooking Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque - 360 Panorama Restaurant (maps.app.goo.gl/xFdvsgqFm9pxxtSS8) • Transfer in Istanbul – clck.ru/3AwDza • My video “Istanbul for the first time” with tips for beginners –    • СТАМБУЛ в ПЕРВЫЙ РАЗ: Полезные советы...   • My video “Sightseeing tour: what to see in Istanbul in 1 day” –    • СТАМБУЛ ЗА 1 ДЕНЬ: Что посмотреть, до...   • All my videos from Istanbul –    • СТАМБУЛ   In this video I told you how to get from Istanbul airport to the city center by metro. To travel by public transport, it is worth buying an Istanbulkart. In May 2024, the price of a travel card in Istanbul was 70 liras. 👣 Ready route around Istanbul for 1 day - attractions and best places from the video 1. Hagia Sophia. The entrance ticket costs 25 euros. 2. Blue Mosque (or Sultanahmet Mosque). Free admission. 3. Sultanahmet Square and Hippodrome. There are fountains, the Serpentine Column and the Obelisk of Constantine. From Sultanahmet Square you can go to Topkapi, but I would not include a visit to the Sultan’s palace in my Istanbul itinerary for 1 day (you need to spend at least 2-3 hours for a walk through this museum). 4. Gulhane Park. Free admission. 5. Sulaymaniyah. Mosque, observation deck and tombs of Sultan Suleiman and Hurrem Sultan. The entrance is free. 6. Rustem Pasha Mosque. Free admission. 7. Egyptian bazaar. The famous Grand Bazaar is nearby, but I did not include it in the route, since shopping there is not profitable. The Egyptian market is interesting both from a historical point of view and as a place to buy sweets. 8. Bosphorus. Here you can take the ferry (Eminonü-Karaköy route). Directions via Istanbulkart. 9. Galata Tower. Now there is a museum and observation deck inside. Entrance – 30 euros. 10. Istiklal Street. You can take a retro tram along Istanbulkart. The restaurant where I had lunch is called Midpoint (a good chain establishment that operates throughout Istanbul). 11. Eyup Sultan Mosque. To get here, from Istiklal Street, go to the Bosphorus at Kasımpaşa pier and take the ferry to Eyüp station. From here you can walk to the funicular to Pierre Loti hill. 12. Pierre Loti. You can go up and down either on foot or by cable car. “Istanbulkart” is working. On an excursion to the Princes' Islands I visited two islands - Buyukada and Heybeliada (the largest and most interesting). Had lunch at the modern Beltur eatery with a beautiful view of the Sea of Marmora. 🎥 All my videos from Turkey –    • ТУРЦИЯ   ⏰ Timecodes: 0:00 - In this episode 0:38 - About transport 2:14 - Where to stay in Istanbul 4:25 - Main attractions 7:34 - Gulhane Park 8:00 - Restaurant with the best view of Istanbul 9:01 - Sulaymaniyah 10:41 - Rustem Pasha Mosque 11:09 - Bazaars 11:52 - Galata Tower and Istiklal Street 13:37 - Eyup district and Pierre Loti hill 15:16 - Princes' Islands #turkey #istanbul #travel ------ 🔔 Hello!
