Be sure to try this aromatic, slightly bitter beer bread! This bread goes perfectly with cheese, sausage and savory toppings. This bread is easy to make and requires just a few ingredients.
Tip: Use good beer for this bread!

Recipe:
500g/ 17.6oz wheat flour 550 or all-purpose flour
300ml/ 10.1fl.oz beer warm
7g/0.25oz dry yeast
10g/ 0.35oz salt
At the start of the final cooking I preheat the pot to 230 degrees/450F.
Which vessels are suitable?
Cast iron pots, glass casserole dishes, clay pots, stainless steel pots, Dutch oven,...
The pot must not have plastic handles and must be oven safe. As an alternative to the lid, you can also close the pot with aluminum foil.

Bake:
25 minutes at 230 degrees / 450F with lid
10-15 minutes without a lid with top and bottom heat

Please note:
every flour is different. If you don't have the same type of flour that I use,
Do not add all the liquid to the dough at once.
Under certain circumstances it may also be necessary to add more liquid.
Pay attention to the dough consistency I have.
The baking time and the amount of sugar and/or salt do not change; this is calculated based on the amount of flour.
