Sanju Samson's half-century had earlier guided India to a total of 167/6 after Sikandar Raza opted to bowl first. With this win, India clinched the five-match T20I series 4-1. Up next, the Men in Blue will face Sri Lanka in a bilateral series in Sri Lanka.
On Sunday, the Spaniard held off a late rally from Novak Djokovic to secure a 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(4) victory, successfully defending his title at the grass major. Despite losing three championship points at 5-4, 40/0 in the third set, Alcaraz maintained his composure during the tie-break, ultimately achieving a dominant win on Centre Court.
