I initially started this case
I initially started this case (#19) several months ago. As you recall, my patient did not want an implant nor a bridge placed. Our endodontist tried and could not remove the existing cast post. Eventually, I was successful in removing the post with the dental microscope and returned the patient back to the endodontist. The root canal was completed and the patient waited the appropriate time for new bone to fill into the apical region. The tooth was built up with core paste without the use of a post. GC
