Our beloved national song, like you’ve never heard it before. On India’s 74th Independence Day, here’s an inspiring rendition of “Vande Mataram” by global recording artist ILA; an ode to Mother India and Mother Earth. Blending traditional folk and classical Indian music with western orchestration, ILA’s soulful vocals honor the diverse and united spirit of India over all six verses of the national song, making this track both a rare rendition and a historically emotional masterpiece. Co-produced by Grammy Award-winning composer Ricky Kej and featuring the legendary 75 piece Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the VOXAPHONIC Choir of London, ILA’s “Vande Mataram” is a global call for solidarity and peace. After all, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ — the world is one family.

“Vande Mataram” was filmed and recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London.

“Vande Mataram” is the lead single off ILA’s second album ‘ILA—The Earth Symphony.’ Rooted in Indian tradition and scriptures, and blended with a world music approach, the album is a celebration of the natural world. Hear ‘ILA—The Earth Symphony’ here: https://linktr.ee/ILAPaliwal
