The Premier of Gauteng sat down with Anele, Frankie & Thembekile to break down key points from his second State of the Province.
At the heart of Lesufi’s speech were crime prevention, youth employment and long-awaited developments on e-tolls.
Government has also introduced e-Panic Buttons via a mobile app, in partnership with law enforcement and private security agencies.
It allows users to quickly and discreetly call for help at the tap of a button.
“Whether it’s in the townships or the suburbs… if you press it, whoever is close to you will be dispatched… it will officially launch on 1 April. I am looking forward to citizens of Gauteng downloading the app.” - Panyaza Lesufi, Premier of Gauteng
