KAAL BHAIRAB || LAKHEY ||

Bhairava or kaal bhairab is shaivite and vajrana deity worshipped by hindus and buddhist. He is a powerful manifestation or avatar of SHIVA associated with annihilation. Lakhey is also meant to be demons who used to live in the forrest and later became protectors to the towns people. It is the dance of demon in the carnival of god. The LAKHEY tradition is prominently figure in NEWAR culture.
