A large and disorganized tropical wave will track closer to the southeastern United States by this weekend.
The tropical wave located in the central Atlantic is surrounded by dry air. It will move into more favorable environment as it gets closer to the Greater Antilles and the Bahamas. If a depression forms, it’s likely to turn north towards Florida or up the east coast of the United States. Chief Meteorologist Jason Smith has more.
